Snowmageddon is Coming!
OMG! SNOW!!! So any of you that live in the northeast know that we are getting our first real snow storm of 2017. I personally love snow and say the more the merrier, but I have a lot of friends that just can’t wait for summer and beach weather. The best part is that everyone rushes to the grocery store and strips the shelves of bread, milk, eggs, and oddly enough… cucumbers…. I know…random! I too panicked a little last night and ran to the store. It just wasn’t the grocery store….I went to Hobby Lobby to make sure I stocked up on enough yarn to get me through this storm. Yuppers! yarn and wine are my snowed in essentials 🙂 I think this should last me a couple of days.
I have a friend that is having a baby but she doesn’t know what she is having yet, so I bought yarn for either a boy or a girl. I found this really cute variegated yarn from Baby Bee “My Sweet Love” in both blue and pink that would make the perfect baby blanket or baby cocoon. I just can’t wait to get started on cute baby gifts!
While browsing the aisles, I also found this awesome yarn from Red Heart Scrubby Sparkle. I need a new dish cloth and this yarn will be perfect for it!
There is nothing more relaxing than sitting by the window, watching the snow fall, sipping a glass of wine, and crocheting something wonderful.
